I have always considered the English language strange and we electricians are not exempt.

On the forum we talk about PAT Testing.

Does this mean we test the test because I feel sure if we write it in full it would say...............

Portable Appliance Test Test.

Hmmmmm.......or are we really saying we are testing Patricia the blond from up the road.. :slap

Remember doing a course once where a girl put her name badge on her left breast and looked suprised when a chap on the same course started patting her left breast.
