Well if its proper electric cable duct can't see why you shouldn't be able to pull a new cable through after all its only 16 metres even with tight bends. I would be more concerned its got damaged and would tests cable before doing anything else.

Facts as I see,2 * twin and earth 2.5mm

In a conduit/pipe buried 2ft under the surface, to provide power to a shed, I assune from this it is not likely to be subject to a plough anytime soon.

Whats the problem?

Lets move onto the earthing type
Lets not , I'm already spouting a load of of old tosh through not reading the OP properly.

Lets just export the earth and say nothing.

we should probably actually cable tie the T&E to a copper water pipe feeding the garage!

Lol at this thread... :)

To answer some questions;

1. It's a workshop.

2. Maximum total draw would never be more than 18A.

3. Here's a photo of supply in hallway, not sure whether it's pme or tnc-s.

See below

That's not your CU. That's your supply head (looks like tncs so that's the earthing determined) and an isolator feeding out to your CU that's located somewhere else.

You need to post a bigger picture next time

Slip of the tongue, I know it's not a cu lol, the cu is in my living room.

I posted a big picture, the forum made it small I think, heres a better one.

How would PME differ to look at?

It does say 'NEDL protective multiple earth system' on a sticker, but then I guess it would if it were TNC-S also.

Tut tut tut at the head. 60A (but anyone could have written that on a 100A carrier with what looks like 10m tw&e. Earth cut off and exposed single insulation. Thats 3 codes
also looks like bare 4mm earth from the twin along side the earth to the head

I think that is the trouble with DNO fitting isolators you get people connecting into them and not doing a very good job. Whereas if DNO oversee the installation it generally done to a better standard.
