hello

i have recently purchased a attachment for my percussion drill to find out it doesnt fit! :_|

It is designed to fit a drill with a collar size of 67mm, my drill is a hitli and slightly larger than this.

I went to the local tool shop and enquired, they were less than helpful and not happy for me to measure try the chuck on their drills.

Does anyone know if 67mm collar size is a standard size? if some dont mind could you measure the collar size of you precussion drill so i have some idea.

I know its a bit of a ask, but im getting fed up of having this 30quid lump of metal rolling around in the van and never used it!

cheers

think it's 43mm on a hammer drill?

Your tool shop is crap! Name and shame?

Did it come with a reducing collar? Make one?

I did well off the top of my head :)

B&D and Dewalt fitted my drill stand at 43mm

it came with 2 reduction collars in the box - I threw them out many years ago!

38mm seems to be the other common size

ive found some technical data on the bosch uk website that their drills can be used with euro standard 43mm acessories.

Will keep looking as im a dewalt or hitachi man myself.

i think i posted as you posted.

Its a Atlas Copco angle chuck.

If it works will be considerably cheaper than buying a makita angle drill.
