Dry line patress

Hi,

Can you buy a double dry line box which takes 2 single accessories. Ie, takes 2 sfcu's as I've come across 2 sfcu's been put too close together and they won't screw up as there's no plasterboard between the holes cut out.

Only time you may have a problem if they are metal accessories. Dual dry lining boxes are easily available.

Yep. Used plenty. Fine for standard accessories.

as said the only time you may have an issue is with metal/brass faceplates, they are sometimes slightly larger and therefore wont fit as close together.

as a rule of thumb, if you dont have a dual box then 2singles set at 1" centres is about right for normal block walls.
