i have posted better pics
I thought the cut out was half way up on the left, next to the neutral connectionI can not see a DNO cut out, I can only assume that the extreme left connections is a split line and neutral, looks like someone has decided to connect an earth to the neutral? I would have thought it was a TT supply that has been altered?
Steve is right, at the moment it does look a mess. I do hope you will heed the advise given on this forum and put things right. One word = MESS
If your mate is going to be signing off your work for you, (which he shouldn't as by your own admission he is self employed and you are not his employee), Then it would be prudent to ask him exactly how he wants the work done if he is going to be signing the work. I am a bit confused as on the one hand you talk about saving money, but on the other hand, you appear to have installed a lot of unnecessary bonding wires and clamps? It really would be wise to get the person who is signing your work to verify exactly how they want it done rather than asking on a forum. As to be honest, it looks a bit messy and I am not sure many of our members would be happy to sign for any of that.hope you can see this pic

I agreed with ya to start with but when I looked closely I'd say that the neutral is going to one of the middle terminals on the meter, (left, connection 2)I might be wrong but is your line/neutral from the meter the correct way round?
Went to a house last week to find the L/N reversed in the CU
