Steer clear of both of these FFS.

Yodel are useless & ebuyer use Yodel.

They are a bunch of liars who are incompetent and unable to fulfill deliveries.

Just being fed up and annoyed with their lies, half truths and avoidance tactics.

yodel are not too bad here

best round here are fedex, interlink & UPS. almost always the same driver who knows where to leave stuff if im not in, and often get stuff delivered to my van at a job / roadside if they spot me

worst is royal snail. always takes a few days longer than all the above. their worst one, last year i ordered something on a friday afternoon, paid extra for guaranteed saturday delivery (needed part urgently). sat morning i get an email saying its out for delivery. few hours later i get an email saying 'sorry you were out, we will deliver monday'. checked cameras, watched postman park outside next to my van, put letters in my postbox, walk to other units and drop off letters, get in his van and drive off... phoned local postoffice to ask WTF he was doing, only to be told 'its here, he didnt think you would be in today, so he didnt take it with him'. FFS

Try UK Mail....brilliant!..........NO COMPensation for any package worth less than £50!!

Even when they admit they have lost it, if it is less than £50. Tough titty!

Since City Link went bust my son has been looking for a new carrier for his business.....peak season possibly 750 packages a day. So,he is giving them all a try has a league table of the worst ones.

Have you looked  over the garden fence? in the neighbours shed?

DPD are pretty good and the tracking is pretty spot on :)

Think I posted before about eBuyer and their small print conditions when kit goes wrong.............inside a YEAR! They give you a proportion of the cost back. W@nkers.

Update, forgot, sorry.

Parcel arrived on Friday we were guaranteed between 12:00 & 14:00.

It arrived @ about 13:55.

The courier driver looked around the houses before deciding he could figure out which one it was.

Mrs SW refused delivery.

The package was >£200 of electronic parts.

It looked like they had been using it as a football all season, and it was torn open.

Spoke to ebuyer, as I was just home in time on Friday before they closed @ 18:00, and advised them of the issue.

They did not seem too concerned.

Were not prepared to use an alternative carrier, so I have requested a refund.

Got to wait now until they get it back.

Only regret is Mrs SW didn't get pictures of the parcel.

Imhave had many issues with Tufnells. They are one of the few carriers who will delivery articles over 3m in length.

We used to use a lot of 4m lengths of Illuma lighting track on the shopfits.

There must be a massive pile,of "lost" 12' lengths of illuma track at their depot as most of it left Castle,Combe BUT never arrived on site, so we went on to 8' lengths

Bunch of Muppets

Re the parcel being smashed up, it seems to happen sooooo often with loads of different couriers, youd think the upper echelons of their companies would work out that that kind of 'customer service' is not really sustainable for any length of time. I have a short list of couriers who will never get my business again due to their monkeys being too heavy handed, the list keeps growing sadly. Eventually I guess Ill have to deliver my own parcels

i know fedex deliver 3m stuff, not sure about longer

i think dx do longer stuff too, but they are also useless at delivering all packages at the same time.. 3 out of 4 arrive, other is lost somewhere, duplicate sent fri pm for sat delivery, arrives. missing part is delivered monday. driver didnt look happy when i told him to send it back, its replacement was sent & delivered before that part was

I will say this though, I just sold a bass and sent it with Porcelfarce, who delivered in intact. I did package the living daylights out of it mind, but still it arrived in one piece so fair play to them.

This time. Theres been plenty of times when they have f&&ked me over though

Why were you worried about a fish being broken or was it live?
