EICR Remedial Work and using another Electrician

Seeking clarification on how that works, 

The new qualified electrician completes the remedial works and sends off the details to the EICR inspector so the report can be changed to SATISFACTORY?

Is that how it works?

person doing the remedials writes out EIC / MWC covering their work stating whats been done. this then goe with EICR to say what defects have been corrected. you could get first one back to verify / redo the EICR, or get the 2nd sparky to do an EICR

No. If I issue a report then it can never be altered. Nor is there any reason for it to be.

if the report was unsatisfactory then that is what it was at the time. Remedial Spark ( trust me, some should be remedial!) issues a cert form what he has put right.staple the two,together

if you want a "satisfactory" cert then you have to get it all done again
