Lessons were learnt post the Shirley towers job though, so cutting away is now practiced...........even so it must be in the back of every crew members mind when they get a tower job.
This highlights a major problem with flats like that. No access to any ceiling void, so any rewire or addition can only reasonably be done with surface trunking or conduit.
How long before the next amendment says you have to change the CU for a metal one before you can do any alterations?
...was just remembering the whole estate where the supplies were re done in SWA by chimps: round the door frames and along the wall all on the suface/ plastic clips.
Although they probably wouldn't move it looked rough as a badgers ....
