i did once find a cooker with N&E crossed. it worked until the day i replaced the board with one that had an RCD...

Last one I did turned out to be a straight swap, normal freestanding cooker,

Priced it blind at £45 est, and was on way home, lady was more than pleased, turned out the national retailer she bought cooker from had wanted £80, +another £30 to remove old cooker,

I advised her to either free cycle it (it was in reasonable usable condition) , or leave it kerbside for the scrap wagon to collect, 

 
If you want rid of it, leave it next to the kerb with a sticker on it saying £50, that will guarantee it "goes"

Is this someone's £30 cooker install?
