After the last one I went to at Harrogate, you’ll not be seeing me.
Come on Tony, you can't tell me you didn't enjoy that evening in the bar? Not the one with me, the one with your favourite Mr Cable.

I went in the end and took my avian flu with me as my plus 1.

Didn't manage too long as at first I was too hot and then too cold.😵

All the good free stuff was gone but had a good chat with the ECS man about gradings and wot not, told him his website was **** and he agreed!

The IET seminar was about home automation and voice control, what that has to do with the IET I dunno? :C

Watch out for fake regs books was plastered everywhere! :slap

Wish I could have gone a bit earlier but it wasn't too bad an experience.

Didn't see Mr Cable or Mrs Clancy, Infact there was no NIC stand I can recall maybe they share the IET stand now?

:)

I found it surprisingly good. No NIC there.  I got all the pens & cups on the 1st day, thats why none were left :B .

Bought a few bits that were a good deal, saw this a while ago at double the price, Hole saw kit that will cut through almost anything, £100 inc vat

Also had a good chat on the Lewden stand. I did not know they bought Control Gear a few years ago and the CG new consumer units look really good. Square knockouts with silicon grommets good construction. Board with 8 rcbo's will be £120 before any wholesale discount

not sure they will be be enough for a bank job

Got one too, also have a long plain shank bolt with the holesaw thread on it.

Got some spare bolts too, but couldn't find them the other day, when I do, I'll lop the heads off them and send them out to forumites for forum donations, IF I can find them...

Do you know what thread it is SW,?

I have an old style bolt/screw place near me that has some weird and wonderful stuff in there, run by an old (ancient) bloke behind the counter that can usually find you a solution to anything that doesn't require a metric measurement. :)

7/16" UNF sounds right, but, it is on here somewhere, because that is where I got it from, and the reason I got some more bolts than I needed was to do one for you and a few others, but, didn't have the chance, and as usual, these things get put to one side!
