Hello and welcome to the best electrical forum in the universe.......

Unfortunately I cannot offer you any practical help and its not going to be much hope to you for me to say that times are generally quiet at the moment compared to a few years ago... So theres not a lot of businesses looking at expanding....

But You do seem to be a guy who's doing all of the right things and I can only wish you well in your search....

On a positive note I will also say that you introduction post is well written, clear and to the point...

Some other "job hunters" on here sometimes have trouble putting a cohesive sentence together.. (even a text speak one!)

which IMHO would never impress any prospective employer!

So just keep on trying and don't give up.

and don't forget to come back here and get involved in some of the banter! :Blushing ;)

Thankyou for the kind reply SPECIAL LOCATION, I just come back form my local electrical wholesalers and left them a few cards I made up (fingers crossed).

A mate I went to college with has landed himself a 30k a year job doing PV installs and I know he is lucky but I'm just going to keep trying and trying and one day someone will give me a break. He said he sent out 47 CV's, had 2 interviews and landed the PV job then. Im so jelous to be honest but hey thats life....

I been reading bits and bobs throught this forum and to be perfectly honest it seems to be pretty cool, loads of information and defiantely a must for any UK sparky...

Thanks again mate :)
