Exporting an earth TT

Can some one point me in the right direction of exporting a TT earth system.

I have had a chat with another spark he has said he likes to export the earth to a out building from the 1st rod. But I like to install there db own Rod no more than 5m away if possible?? Any pages in the red reg book. Not got green yet lol

nothing wrong with exporting TT or TNS earth. problem is with TNCS earth

voltage of 'earth' is different to the ground you stand on during normal conditions

The question is valid, and would have some benifit to all so I would like to keep this thread here rather than transfer to the student zone.

You are however correct, its hard to believe that someone is trying to do their job without the correct reference materials, I would have thought this was a prequirement of doing the job properly.

Ok so say we take a tncs supply and come of the cu on a 40a mcb. Then SWA to a out house and then install a small cu at that end.

Now I no that the the earth can become live if a N is lost...

But how will this affect the out house it's simply another cct.

Now extraneous parts in the out house is another topic.

top right of the page there is a little white box you can type words into, 'exported earth' I believe will be the words required.

then click on the little magnifying glass icon.

In short the OUTHOUSE is not just another circuit but OUTSIDE where the likely hood is that a person may easily be in contact with the REAL EARTH. a difference in potential between true earth and your circuit protective conductor may present a shock hazard.
