Hi,

Probably a stupid question but been a long day.

If a bathroom doesnt have any windows and has no external walls. Is there such a thing as an extractor fan which recirculates rather than extracts as there is nowhere to pipe outside.

I wait to be shot down as this is probably a stupid question but thought id ask anyways.

Thanks

What kind of property is it. Ceiling mounted fan poss, ducted out through loft? if not then I think it will be ducting boxed in through a route to nearest external wall.

It will need to vent outside (not into a loft as I have seen another sparks do). Charcoal extractors used to be suitable for kitchen where moist air was being extracted but I think are no longer suitable. New part F comes out in a couple of weeks too.

the whole point of the fan is it vents the air to outside.... if your venting it back into the same room, then save some money, be green, and dont install it

Oh Damn it !!!! The breech has jammed . Best just answer then. As above , it will need ducting to the outside , a room you describe could end up with mildew and streaming walls .

Yep I quite often use a ceiling light combined with fan normally used in the cubicle then duct out down through the soffit by a window so I can fit an external grill from the inside through the window.

Hope this helps,

Hmm. Isn't there a 0.5m minimum distance requirement from a window or door?
