Hi guys,

My gate motor blown a fuse (5Amp -240V). After replacing the fuse. It only opens for about half second then stop straight away. Code 01 when opening and code 02 when stopping.

Did it blow more than just the fuse? Is there any expert around here who could provide me some help?

Thanks in advance.

DK

More information would be a good idea.

Make model of gate opener

Has anything changed in regard to the gate / the terrain?

(As you have less than 10 posts you can't add a picture, so don't try, its to help stop spammers)

How long have you had this gate opener?

Has it been reliable?

Is this the first time it has "played up"

Can you confirm you really are in Australia (Different rules out there)

Anything else you would like to mention?

Welcome to the forum as Richard has asked, more information is needed. I will just add that fuses do not normally just blow for no apparent reason. There will be something causing a surge or overload of current somewhere in the system. It could be due to mechanical failure, electronic failure, water ingress or similar.
