That snow falling up there ^^^^^^

It's bloody hypnotic. Just found myself staring at it for 5 mins, maybe longer who knows, we are still on Monday aren't we??

p.s. post only applies to those viewing full site and not mobile version ;)

Falling snow?  It's been falling up here for 24 hours or more now.  I've got to go over the hills tomorrow, glad I have 4WD.

What do you expect Dave ...you're up in the Arctic circle FFS

Here the sun is beating down , its all Bermuda shorts and flipflops and the blue sea laps gently against the golden sands.

yeah, Ive been watching it for half an hour now, doesnt seem to be settling tho so i guess no need to panic. Has TEF got some grit? else everyones gonna be on thier a*ses tomorrow, not just Steps :)

First snow I've seen in Kent today, training it up to town this morning, the train gets about 100 yards past Petts Wood, the carriage lights started dimming (like REALLY dimming) and the wheels start slipping. Driver comes on and says "I'm going to reverse the train into Petts Wood. Of course he then finds he CAN'T reverse. Somehow he creeps back and we are told to "de-train" as in fact the train is NOT going any further. Platforms are sheet ice with people getting off and slipping straight over, one bloke with one back of salt a couple of platforms across! Jumped onto the first train I could on a different line, got off at Victoria and promptly lost my travel card! Gets to job to find some poxy Italian power supply down ("KERT" make) with no UK agent. So, going down the "alternatives" route now. Lucky it wasn't 300' up atop a building in the snow.............oh, it WAS!

I love winter!

Still, its NOT as if they're putting the train fares up next year is it!

Have they put the prices up to finance HS2 or is it just the tax payer that has got to pay for that?
