Faulty florry

Replacing a load of florries and most have been repaired at some time by the on-site spark (gone now) & now have starter switch like so

I went to a posh gaff to install a satellite dish for them (a sideline of mine, someone else had done the wiring)

The sparks that did the wiring put in coax cables and connected the satellite F connector front plates.

But I wasn't getting a good signal, so I unscrewed the plate for a look.

Satellite coax connected to a (should be soldered) F connector, with a pair of choc blocks.

haha, i normally drill out some euro module blank plates and put a panel mounted ftype coupler with a locking ring in.

I look after 1000's of fluoros at the mo... usually rip out the gubbins when they fail and put HF ballasts in. Much better.
