A long time ago when I decided I wanted to go self employed I looked into Dyno-Electric franchise, I had a meeting with them.
They wanted 25% of everything, they wanted to be the supplier of the materials offering you their so called best price, the list was endless.
I decided to put it by my bank manager, in those days they were proper bank managers who did give good advise.
His advise to me was "They need you to make money, you don't need them, you are the Electrician, without you they are nothing"
The other advise he gave was it may work where there are lot's of old properties, but not in a town where the majority are newer properties.
I took his advise and declined, in my area both Dyno-Electric and Mr Electric have changed hands so many times because they cannot get it to work.
I don't think Dyno-Electric even exists now tbf.
