Hi,

Anyone use any file sharing programs i.e. Limewire on the internet to download music, dvd's etc. Any recommended or to be avoided? i know some are ridden with viruses ??

Any info appreciated?

Thanks

Matt

To be honest mate, there really not worth the hastle.

You are better off buying the legit copys.

I used to do alot of downloading from file sharing programs, and spent more time deleting crap that wasn't what I thought it was, removing viruses, re searching for stuff that didn't download properly, etc.

I now buy all my music, films, software, etc from places like amazon, play.com and sendit.com.

Far less hastle.

Plus, there is now less chance of my ISP disconnecting or restricting my broadband, or getting a heavy fine, meaning I won't loose out on not being able to view my favorite forum HERE! :)

*EDIT* Blimey! In the time it took me to type this, 4 posts appear! LOL!

I briefly installed Limewire but uninstalled it as it seemed to slow my PC down. Also didn't like the idea of other people accessing my computer.

As far as music goes, I use mp3va.com. They're so cheap, & legal, it's not worth file sharing or illegally downloading.
