Hi All, bet you can guess the outcome...?????

Last piece of trunking on Friday (I'd been using my Dremel for cutting all week) blinking knife slipped and took out my left middle finger headbang

Went to A&E on Friday night, got bored by 2am, went home. Went back Saturday morning, waited 7+ hours to be seen, told to come back on Sunday. Went back Sunday, kept in for emergency surgery, thankfully all is well. Just been discharged, now at home with a nice :coffee

No work for at least 2 weeks headbangheadbangheadbang

Gutted isn't the word, I've got so much work on at the mo it couldn't have happened at a worse time....

Good old Stanley! I have a 4 inch ugly scar on the back of my hand courtesy of one of them about 4 months ago. I took a few days on light duties and then realised being self employed that I needed to stop whinging and crack on.

Ouch! Ever since I got the cordless Clas Ohlson 'Fein' lookee likee I have not used a knife on trunking. Brilliant bit of kit, cheap blades as well. So when I am in That Liverpool tomorrow I will be loading up with some bits from their store................ :coat
Have you got a link? Googled it but can't find it. Found CO but not sure it's right site and everyone keeps talking about the tool so keen to see it. I have a Bosch multi tool at the moment and it killed batteries so need a replacement.

I'd been using the Dremel to cut trunking all week, this was the one and only time I used the Stanley....typical!

Ah, that's what they told me but then I saw a consultant who told me the docs and nurses were talking carp and that if I wanted use of the hand quickly I needed to move it around. Now, if you severed tendons etc then totally different - I just missed mine.

Are these any good? Never heard of CO and they look a little DIY to me - a bit like 'Pulse' which Tesco are selling. P.s, sorry if we are hijcking this thread:innocent
