Fire Alarm Interfaces?

A bit of advice please to briefly explain what the score is with them

From ya panel to an inter face,

Then out of ya interface to your fire curtain (for example). Either normally closed or open depends on equipment .

Then when ya fire alarm sounds, your interface will become 24v and that will activate and do its job.

Is this correct, and how do you get 24v out of ya fire alarm panel, if there is none built into ya panel

There always is 24v at the panel but many times the interface is there because the panel only triggers the interface to switch in an external power supply. The panel is not designed to power door closers, curtains etc.

The panel  would normally have an AUX connection for the voltage and clean contacts to switch something external.
