Got 2 questions....

went to go and look at a job on the way home, the bloke lives on the 1st floor and wants he garage wired up... his consumer unit it on the first floor and he meter is on the external wall of the ground floor... he doesn

nothing wrong with henley/switch fuse at meter - but DNO may have problem with it in their enclosure though

as for tails, i wouldnt be happy with DI in cavity - expecially if tis insulated in there. and whats the length?

At worse it's about a 25m run to the top flat , do you think I should quote to replace 25mm di to swa ... ? Landlord won't be happy that he got cheap labour in in the first place ... Oh well that will teach him

why are you finishing the job anyway? last spark gone AWOL? or customer not paying?

either way, have you checked VD of tails? is there insulation or not?

Volt drop is Ok , and no Insolation ...
