Anyone on here needed to register? A new client is insisting on it and wants to see if anyone has gone through it. Seems another cost to work in and around London but needs must.

Well what do you know! Another scam to throw at the working man. These want to offer driver training???? Shouldn't the person whose already driving know how to drive?? This is non beneficial to any company as far as I can see, so on that basis it has to to be a scam??

Completely agree. 1 van is classed as a 'fleet' apparently. Ridiculous.

I agree. Very frustrating. I think it is linked to cyclist deaths/injuries in the capital but as usual it is being over egged by bringing any ban in the same category as a HGV.

Apparently you cannot work for LUL without it.

I have not read into it enough yet but if you own vehicle(s) you need this. There is a bronze, silver, gold standard but who wants to be bronze?

Just another rip off  & job creation scam much like that other one ,,,was it BS6001  ?   As I've droned on about previously , a neighbouring council suddenly announced that they would NOT use any contractor without BS6001 .  

We were quoted  £6000  for our office  to become 6001'd ( nothing to do with site work or electrics ...just bull shine )  which consisted of the owner , myself & the typist  .   To this day I have no idea what it entailed & what use it was to us or any of our customers .

simple solution to london: put car / truck parks at the M25. all goods etc are to be dropped there. londoners can then use their bikes, traffic free, to go get everything they have bought from ebay. wonder how long itll last before someone notices that vehicles are needed, and cyclists are still managing to commit suicide without any of those dangerous vehicles anywhere near them

I've heard the VW rumour years ago. It's very clever, at one time the car makers used to tune the engine to pass the test, resulting in crap low speed performance which ruined drivabilty of vehicle, low speed accelaration etc etc. This is an excellent engineering answer to ruining the vehicle, shame its unethical :slap

I wasn't actually towing it .....just parked in front of it .
