Speaking as Forum Spark of the Year ( Did I ever mention that ?) I think we're coming up to that time of year again .
So I'd like to remind members that nothing gets done for nothing these days and there are various fees and costs to be paid to keep the Forum running .
This place is a great help to fellow electricians and theres always someone here who will go out of their way to help & asssist members with advice and to impart their knowledge & experience .
You'll notice there are various levels of voluntary membership , Gold etc ( access to useful downloads etc) or if you didn't want to commit fully in that way , a one off contribution would be a great help . Gold member would be what, .38p /week ?
I can't imagine how many sparks have been helped on here since I joined , with wiring diagrams , fault finding advice , income tax , self employment , inovations like solar etc . I remember in my own case , having a whinge about having to return to college after 100 years for the 17th . In the post a member sent me a disc with the typical exam on and another sent a memory stick , and another with typical written questions . Did it help ? 99% pass
So lets not leave it to the few to keep it running ....if you enjoy your time here , show your appreciation this month ......................and if you do , I'll say thank you now .
