I think I have a crap puter TBH   .  Usually if I shrink the Forum say, to Google something , open it up and I have to sign in again.

1)    Forum times out .

2)    Message keeps popping up  "Firefox has crashed"    I just ignore it ,  everything seems to work.

3)    Message keeps popping up  "  Flashplayer has crashed"   Ignore that too.

4)    Your CPU is experiencing high usage in some section .  ??  Ignore that too.

5)    Upgraded to BT Infinity  new line speed  100MPH     seems no different to what it was before .

Deke,

I think you need to completely clean out ,

your ,

cache,

your ,

cookies ,

and maybe loads of other stuff,

I dont know so much with windows,

hopefully some of our other members can help you.

Vista is supposed to do all that but I have my doubts ,  would defragmenting help , if I can find it .

How would I clear out the Cache whatever that is ?     Cookies I clear frequently.

Whan I saw 'Forum Times Out' in the thread title I thought the forum was publishing a magazine to rival the NICEIC Jumentous Connections mag.

If your log-in is timing out it's probably a setting in your browser causing expiration of your log-in cookie.

Blimey Marvo.

Its Firefox Paddler  ...I've looked at properties buy don't see what number TBH.   I'll delve deeper.

I've delved deeper .........  non the wiser TBH
In firefox go to the help menu at the top and click on 'About Firefox'.

Maybe try another browser like Opera for a while that way you can figure out if it's a browser problem or a windoze issue.
