Needs to be two layers of plasterboard, taped and filled joints, and staggered joints to be considered fire proof.Maybe he's inadvertently hit upon the solution to all those dangerous plastic consumer units? A bag of multi-finish plaster works out much cheaper than installing a shiny new metal unit..
Yes if correctly installed, joints taped and skimmed with finish plaster.Isn't 1 layer considered fireproof for 30 minutes?
