what red light? switch or shower? if its on the switch, its burnt out and needs replaced

do not try and use the shower until the switch is replaced, doing so could cause a fire

I've just had a look at what a 95e actually is

They have a manual solenoid and flow switches turn on the elements

Internally, the flow switches often fail especially in harder water areas - this will still allow water through, but it won't heat up

Hi, the red light is the one in the ceiling with the pull cord,.if it is the Is the switch is it difficult to change?

thanks dave.

Is the switch is it difficult to change?thanks dave.
depends. if its just internal switch failure then usually fairly easy. more likely though one of the conductors (usually the neutral) will be heat damaged and may need cut back - not too bad if you have the length to do so, but you may need to replace a section of cable

Hi, replaced the switch and shower got hot but then in got to hot and when you turned the temp down slightly it was very cold also light in switch does not go out when turned off, i'm not sure if it should?

Any help would be wellcome.

Thanks Dave.

You have connected the feed and load cables the wrong way round, thats why the light stays on

This has no baring on the hot & cold though. Double make sure all the connections are very tight. Sounds like you have a water flow problem & may need a descale
