TBH  I think most grade of KO box would go the same way in those conditions .

Denmans do special range of KO box ( designed to annoy sparks)   .... the adustable lug drops out  so you always need spare boxes to rob, and a lot of the threads have to be tapped out on 2nd fix .

Oh and because on new work I usually loop at the switches so use 25mm  X 1 gang boxes can lead to quite a few earths  and the terminal has a tiny hole compared to other makes.
I feel your pain.......their black lugged dry lining boxes were thrown together in the same design studio.

Have you ever used their CGD 3 phase boards? Shucking fiite or what! Used one AND never again. Client wouldn't pay M&G price unfortunately!.....their Curve boards however are quite good

Just.....having fitted one

Ha yeh but surely the clue was in the name of the range 'BASICS' suppose you get what you pays for.  Should have gone the extra few squid for the Steeple range at least your getting half decent being a re-brand Crabtree Loadstar.

I personally like doing all my 3 phase in the Invicta range.

Admittedly it was a cheap job.....job and knock!

I will, try Steeple next time....obviously on your recommend! So when it all goes Holly Willoughby.........

It's a renovation. It was a little bit damp due to the walls being made good with hard wall. No different to rendering them in though.

Just cheep crap I think.
