Gas meter readings ???

Anyone looked at how BG work out their bill ?      :C

I just sent a reading in  and deducting one from the other it left 12   which I took to be KWh  .    No heating on for ages so this is just hot water .  

But still the bill comes to £54. 66         Standing charge is 37.45 /day    for 90 days .  

The calculation is a nightmare from Cu.Ft  etc etc

Think of a number and double it? 

I'm currently £500 in credit which should see me a few days of winter!

Different vat on the first amounts of units , then government allowance i think. I am millions in credit through the summer  but owe them thousands by xmas

Yes  the Gov. has to take their cut @ 5%   VAT 

And strangely the  bill breakdown page pp4  doesn't show online .   

WHo remembers water being at a madly low cost ...no worries paying the water bill to Birmingham City Water Dept.    About £5.00 per half year    ,  privatised to Severn Trent    and watch the bills rocket.

Question is why are you still with British Gas? Never watched Martin Lewis?

I started to change once and all the opposition prices went up  so, like many things,  it was shelved .

I like the way that everything is multiplied by a Calorific value for the gas. What a F Con.

oh we are running low on funds this month lads....up the CV by 10%, nobody will know what it is anyway
