Must admit things where looking like slowing down , but hopefully just got a small factory a shop and a couple of rewires on the books ... So should see me through another couple of months !

It's certainly up and down at the mo ...

is deffo getting worse and worse is to come ... tighten ur belts guys .. :(

I think Birmingham and the Midlands is suffering due to all the local manufacturers who have gone bump and the knock on effect that this causes.

All I ever seem to see is everywhere converted into Tesco Towns! Dont you think its really rewarding filling shelves and working on a till all hours of the week, instead of having specialised skills that other countries used to look up to us for.

I do mostly domestic (70/30 split) and I agree with you it is getting slower. Strange thing is the skip lorrys around here cant keep up and a lot builders are turning work down or losing it because they cant fit it in!

There appears to be "Extensions" being built down this way.

Well thats a good sign , if builders are busy there should be a knock on effect.

last wed a local builders/ groundworkers went belly up, 200 staff and theres rumers that they may have put another company in the same line..... it appears to be the bigger companys that are getting it

Thats assuming they aren't doing the work themselves of course.

Two of the printers I looked after have gone bust , I realised they made up half of my income. :(
I was in Print Industry for 18 years before jumping into this...I can't quite believe my misfortune at now being so quiet & wondering when it's ever going to come round? Mind, had I stayed in Print I'd have lost my job again! So maybe 2 days is netter than nowt!

Which Print Co's were those Mate in Birmingham?
