Good morning all.

As you can so clearly tell from the fact I am introducing myself and the fact my post count says 1! I am new.

My name is Simon and I have worked in Maintenance for 3 years and before that I worked building big industrial machinery.

Now I am in Maintenance my company are pushing me more towards doing Installation, PAT testing X( (grrrrr) and also testing now. So I have a lot to learn! Which is both good and bad!

I have completed my PAT test course a few months ago. I am going to do my 17th edition next week (and 4 following weeks at my local college) and following that I shall be off to do my 2391 :_| !

I work at the moment the CNC machinery, cranes and other types of drills and manual lathes. But I regularly have to install supplys both single and 3 phase.

I shall probably be using this forum a fair amount so thank you for such a great forum.

Hello Simon, Welcome to the forum, that short resume of our career sounds quite good considering the current economic climate. It has to be a benefit having a company willing to get you trained up. Good luck with it all, and as you say use the forum it is a friendly place.

Welcome Simon, as you've said this is a friendly place so welcome:D
