Well seen as you asked nicely, then I will let you know that I fixed the washing machine. Burnt out/ worn carbon brushes on the motor, there was only about 5mm of carbon left so only just touching the commutator, think this may have been arcing because I heard a noise a recently which sounded like a bra wire stuck in the drum, however the noise has now gone!. So the Mrs was happy that it only cost
