Had 2 little wheels looked a bit like a pastry cutter there was also a black penknife that looked familiar?

Might go back tomorrow :)

you get a different type of pyro cutter, with wheels on it,

I think i still have one in the shed somewhere, not had my pyro stuff out for near on 5 years now,,,,

Not used my pyro tools for about 15 years now, they fetch decent money on e-bay as well, wonder if I will ever use mine again mmmm, like doing pyro as well.

same here roys,

it was about 5 years before that that I last had them out too,

one of those things though, they arent that big to store, and you never know when,

my pipe bender hasnt moved in about 5 years either,

but, sure as its gonna rain, if I ever sold it I'd need it next week.

We used to tap the hack knife with a hammer to slice through the lead  ( thats LEAD as in PLUMB  pronounced LED  ...not LEAD pronounced LEED  btw )

on PILS SWA cable .

Just remembered using tallow fat as a flux when plumbing the lead .

Not as far as you Stepps ....was it NZ  ...any further and you're coming back .

I posted a long time ago that from working around the country , people were more unfriendly or standoffish in the south but get friendlier the further north you go .   ( Also get friendlier going south west into Wales )
