I am still on the tools mate doing a very big PIR over the last and next few weeks. It is just that I am also now lecturing for a local training provider or few too!
thats good to here mate glad to here you have lots to do in this day and age

Hi Moose,If you have done the "red book" 17th then you don't officially need to do an update course to be honest.

Though I am a bit of a hypocrite as I have actually taught one for a training provider!!!
That is not the word KME told us Mrs Sidewinder calls you????? :innocent

actually.. there were two...

One when you were in the good books....

something to do with heaving manhood and the girth of the male member...... :Blushing

The other when in the bad books....

But Admins swear filter wouldn't even allow innuendo about that word....

Anyway..

NEITHER of them were HYPOCRITE?? ]:) :slap

So I am confused??

:C

I think this may be the differencem between college and a private training provider, I did my 2330 with a private provider, distance learning, we had to get the thory ourself, and I know that would not suit everyone.

What it did mean was the time in the workshop was all practical.

So for example day 1, Instructions on bending conduit, now wire a lighting circuit (expected to know how to desighn the circuit, thats your home learning bit), after that then taught how to test it.

It was the same everyday after, what ever circuit we built we had to test, so testing was done from day one, and every other day.

Once we had got the hang of that, they made us test the 2391 boards, including the 3 phase (not live yet I would add).

Once we got to the level 3 things started to get live, but still everyday you tested what you built. I can honestly say I did not do a single day without testing something. (never did get to test live 3 phase).

As far as I know 2392 does not cover 3 phase its just single phase and aimed at domestic, with a gola exam, so I am happy to miss it and go to the 2391

its worth takeing the 2392 as it does help on the theory side of things ready for the 2391 as it is a hard exam to pass belive me and i think others would say the same

To be honest I dont have time, I'm struggling to get on the 2391, ant the theory doesnt bother

Its the other way around, its practical i want

you do have to do some testing on the 2392 as part of the exam but its the terminology that the big help

the way you have to present your ansewrs to c&g
