Handy finished 2365 diploma step2 find a mate job or step3

Hi all,

New comer 37years old from Hong Kong.
I'm a 3years experience skilled handyman and just finished my 2365 step 2 course, passed 18th education, part P domestic building regulation,EV charging.
I wanted to find a electrician mate or handyman job but I have no working reference and experiences in UK.
I find that is not much job vacancy duing Christmas period in Manchester.

Can I have some advise if I have to enroll step 3 or keep try to find a job for electrician mate?
