has my ebay account been hacked?

Tried to log into ebay today. Tried 3 times and it said "wrong password"

I know I was typing the right password.

So I went through the "forgotten your password" procedure which got me to enter all my security questions, then sent a link via email to enable me to enter a new password.

So all is well and I can log in again.

But what exactly happened?

If someone else had hacked in and changed my password, how did that happen without me getting an email to say the password has been changed?

I can't see any unexpected activity on my account. So was this just a blip or should I be worried?

i was going mad once coz i was unable to log into ebay, it turned out to be nothing wrong with the password, i was spelling my own email address wrongly. Definately a blonde day

I too have received a visit from the 'caps lock fairy' on more than one occasion! Pain in the fricking Barrymore or what?!?!?.... :coat

Could be sticky keys...maybe intermittent fault on keyboard developing....:banghead:
