I have a tool belt, fully loaded and carry it over my shoulder, using it instead of a tool box. I also wear snickers trousers with a zillion pockets and have a snickers hammer loop so don't need a tool belt around my waste.

how many snickers have you got in those pockets ?????

i know you love them !!!!

at that price' date=' i wouldnt trust them working live on a AAA battery[/quote']I've just read the starting your own business thread and every one on there saying budget your money and don't go too mad, is this what they mean :0

I have one , good for up a ladder if I really need a few hand tools . Although I have not used it for a year or so. I hate belts, so it's great for taking a few bits up high. Does look a bit lame, but I also wear steel toe cap boots, trousers with lots of pockets and little flaps like dogs ears with pockets, a fleece and i drive a van. I am defiantly not a fashion advert.

I wish I could get a funny haircut, tight jeans with little turn ups so you can see my ankles, t-shirt with glitter and a crazy pair of aladdin shoes.

i hate toolbelts, in fact i cant get on with any belts at all.I recently ordered some new work trousers and either Ive lost weight (unlikely) or they have been cut a bit on the generous side. I spend more of my working day hitching them back up than working, and the same goes for a tool belt.

I need some hips lol
Sproc,

Do as I did, get some braces!

VERY sad I know, but my work trousers started falling down as I bought some Snickers with loads of pockets and started loading them up with tools, so the weight pulled them down.

Got fed up, Mrs SW suggested braces, and they work, you look useless, but they can hold up a pair of Snickers fully loaded with tools.

One thing I can't stand is seeing "builders bum" and my trousers falling down.

Most of you know I do little domestic, and that that I do is for the local health board, so we really need to be respectable and I honestly feel the braces holding my trousers full of screwdrivers and stuff at a suitable position goes some way to not offending and shocking the patients & their families!!!

However, :coat
