Hello I'm new to this site and this looked a good place to start I have my 201 exam Friday heard it was easy but I'm still revising for it.I must admit I am struggling with all the different formulas and not sure how or where to use them have u guys got any advice as I heard the 202 exam was the formulas one was thinking of hireling a private tutor but gona c how this site goes look forward to the replys

Isn't the 201 the "Working effectively and safely in an electrotechnical environment" one?

Seem to remember most of the exams in the 2330 had a Fire Extinguisher question in!

Exactly not sure what formulas I should be using I havent a clue ohms law not sure on that either

Portz - ohms Law is very basic and you will/should cover this in more detail in AC theory which is covered by your 202 and 203

the 201 is primarily based upon H&S and Working Safely and Effectively within an Electrotechnical Environment.

although throughout the 201 exam they may throw in the odd question about some generic electrotechnical questions.

i used this site to help me with my revision for my 201

Electrical Exams - Multiple choice practise software for the 2330, 2357, 2377, 2382, 2392 and Part P

the 201 mock software is free to download, although the others they do charge a small fee for. check them out they are very usefull.

Various colors of extinguishers

The uses of various extinguishers

Type reference to extinguishers

Personally speaking I DO NOT want to enjoy their 'relaxed motions'........however a mate of mine is a Senior Consultant Gastro-Enterologist and i am sure he would like to get his hand in their problems............... :coat

The problem we have is the fact that this forum does indeed carry some weight in the electrical field. We have members who are from the lowest ranks, our foot soldiers who do our dirty work without compliant, and our experts who belittle their overall experiences.

Trolls will always endeavour to spill some awkward nasty substance, its a by product of being a member of an inferior website, Like those who claim to know it all but are in reality simple minded.

well i can honestly say that the Troll that is the OP if he/she is/has intentions of working within the industry is oozing nasty substances within something that could well become a very valuable assett to him in the future!

this forum has helped me tremendously since my journey into the industry started, yeh we have some giggles and laughs along the way but there is always a time and a place for that.

But if the OP is intent on making a mockery of this forum then he deserves nothing more then to be belittled, and let him crawl back to the primordial oozing inferior website that he orignated and remain there untill such a time that he feels that he is mature enough to fly the nest!
