Does the video in my post above yours, rings any bells, Andy?

I'll try Mr Admin Sir... :Salute :Salute

First attempt: Using the quick reply option at the botton of page I clicked insert image. Then using the box/tool that popped up I chose 'File From Computer' and pressed select file.... I then selected the file I wanted, clicked open, then clicked upload file - here's the result (hopefully) re-created. View attachment 2927

Second attempt: I selected Go Advanced from the bottom of the page, then clicked on the paperclip 'Attachments', because the file was already uploaded from my bodged attempt I simply dragged it to box 2 and placed it there. I then clicked Insert Inline and then clicked 'Done' 2011-10-20 11.42.32.jpg

Did you click the "Insert Inline" on your first attemp, Sparky b? I believe you just clicked on "OK" - Yes?

Test - Done Using "Drag and Drop" and by using the "Done" button - Not "OK". :|

Uploaded via quick reply - image link and selecting "select file (from computer tab)" -> and using the "Upload Files(s)" button.

Same method as above - only difference being this is the Advanced Reply.

Ok, as can be seen by my post #34 - the issue is attachments display as links when quick reply is used on vbulletin talk.electricianforum.co.uk

OK, so what/how to fix "our" end please?

In simpleton terms please without all these new fangled videos and stuff as I have not had that lesson off Brian yet! ;)

Trouble is I can see the first and second attachments by sparkyb, it opens a pop up which may not work for those who have not enabled them? My attachment was done by drag and drop then done.

Just tested again and can see all attachments when opened if right clicked on the attachment title I can see it defined as a Tab, if that means anything to anyone.
