Hi
I finished the C&G 2330 3rd year in August 2007 after a lot of sweat and hard work (left school in 1979 and forgot how to learn and revise).
I am 47 years old and in full time employment within the IT industry as an Engineer (not Electrical related).
I am looking to do part time (probably some evenings and weekend ) work as an electrician, and realise that the first steps are 16th to 17th edition update (next month or so). I also need to get registered (Part P) with a known body (NAPIT, ELECSA etc). That will take a bit of time revising the dead and live test and circuit testing, which by the way was not covered very thoroughly at college
As I am new to this forum, I dont want to bore you all with my life story, so with you all being in the business, I was hoping for any pointers or suggestions as to the way to go, or if I am barking up the wrong tree.
I look forward to your comments.
Cheers
