Hiya everyone,

I've wanted to be an electrician for a very long time so I've decided to quit the army and finally go for it. I am currently training with OLCI and will hopefully complete my course by February 2013 and have registered with this forum as I feel that learning from many other electricians will help me complete my aim of getting to where I need to be. many thanks Dan Meredith.

Hiya Noz, I use to fly the unmanned aircraft for the Royal Artillery is was basically like a predator but without the jet engine and the guns, rockets and bombs lol!!! Just wished I left earlier because I've always wanted to get into electrics!!!,

I'm not doing a five week course it's a year long 2365 with OLCI, I've practically finished now and hoping to be done by March, just wondering if you can give me any tips on getting the NVQ completed????

TBH I haven't got a clue about NVQs, I was just trying to get some background info out of you so that you could get better replies

Thanks for that, I'm sure I'll get talking to lots of people soon lol!!! This seems like a really good forum and I'm sure I'll learn a lot from other people.
