How is cat 5 teminated

ut the kettle on Im looking to find out cat5 is terminated hopefully you guys can post some answers on this

Don't forget to use the type "B" termination colours and it must be identical at both ends.

Best to get lots of connectors and practise a few times. Once you get the hang of it, it's not that bad!

To be honest if your doing a cat 5 from one end to the other you can choose any color combination you like, providing each end is the same. I always follow the standard b type which is more common in the uk.

The male plug in connectors do not have any coulor code so you have to follow one of two installation or connection types

Yes but some runs put in for some applications are too long and complicated for under the carpet installation
