I'm Moving!

Hi everyone. just to let you know that I am moving to Blackpool and will be working as a Rev pretty much full time with a local church in the area. Will probably still be up for a bit of electrical work from time to time to keep my hand in. Needless to say I will still be regularly popping my head in here to offer words of wisdom and spiritual guidance and of course my legendary sense of humour......

how come your not staying in the electrics game full time? and why are you going to black pool, oh dont tell us its cause you want to open a seaside bed and breakfast, right then lads i think thie forum needs to find the b+b and go and cause a ruckus one night i hope youll be allowing every member here a free 2 night fully inclusive stay :^O

Well its a long story, I went into the ministry as it were in 1993 and did a 3 year degree in theology. I have worked in several churches as a minister but never been paid full time so ended up reverting back to my trade to put food on the table. I have been offered a full time position this time so that will be my primary focus. Although if things do get tight I would consider doing some electrical work to get by, just the odd day or week.

Well the outgoing minister and his family were the musicians in the church so theres no one else but me and the mrs to play! She plays acoustic and I play bass - not sure if that song wouyld go down well tho...... :slap

Just make sure you do a quick spiritual check that you are not confusing the calling of the "Light of the world" with the "Illuminations of Blackpool"!!!! :Blushing
