I'm over the Moon

Seriously I am SO FRICKING OVER IT. Every bloody time you put TV or Radio on there it is, just looked out of the window and THERE IT IS.

OK so they allegedly went to the Moon, get over it

i never actually thought they went BUT if they didn't it's a well kept secret on a par with MPs diddling (allegedly)

most memorable thing about it was my mum let us eat tea in the front room whilst watching it on the colour TV......great for black and white pics

I sat up all night watching the moon landing .   I'd just got my own TV   (B&W)  rented from Radio Rentals  complete with a cash box on the back .  

I was amazed to learn  recently that the command  module 's computer had less power than one of today's pocket calculator .   

A friend of our's  also maintains the moon landing as a hoax  , he's seen a major documentary on it .     What he's actually seen is a Hollywood film  called Capricorn One which depicts a hoax.  Its difficult to persuade him otherwise.

Well ........... if the USA didn't get to the moon, why didn't the Russians expose the alleged "fraud" back in the 1970's ? On balance I think they must have achieved it and as a recent program on TV showed, the "mission" of Apollo 12 was to land near a USA rover and recover the camera - which they did

The USA took massive risks, testing technology on people in such a way that H&S would never allow these days ...............

I am in 3 minds about it!

if they DIDN'T then it must be the best cover up job since fugly birds discovered weapons grade face filler!

if they DID then why have they never bothered going back bearing in mind all the modern technology now available to them?

the Russians put the first man in space. So,what happened, USA puts a man on the moon and the Russians go " oh look at zat zee Vestern Imperialists av put zee man on zee moon, before zee mighty Zoviet Union vee  ad best not bother now zen. The reason they never returned there is simple, there’s nothing there! 

There are some placed on this planet that I wouldn’t return too given the choice does that mean i never went in the first place? 

Why waste money returning to the moon when you’ve already achieved that, it would be seen as a waste of money, however aiming for Mars is seen as a challenge and the wasted money can be justified ? 

As for the Russians who knows where they go too? 

Didnt the Chinese recently land on the dark side of the moon? Not sure I believe this, 8billion on one album?

I learned during the recent programmes that the Russians landed a probe on the moon just as the  Eagle was landing .     Not much said about that ...the Russians are a strange bunch  ....even in  the voice of a meerkat !

The USA didnt need to go back because they diverted their funding to Skylab and that needed more money hence the international space station which is jointly funded mainly with Russia...... and that needed the space shuttle ...... in addition to the aged Russian rockets

apparently 16% of people don't believe we went to the moon. They are forgetting the millions of amateur star gazers who could see the landings with their own telescopes.....
