Many thanks for reply there are 5 terminals on hob if using 6mm t&e how's that work how do I connect it where are are 5 terminals ?

These hobs are often set up for possible use on 3 phase, so typically there will be earth, Neutral, L1, L2 and L3.  Many only actually use L1 and L2.

for single phase operation, you link L1, L2 and L3 together with the links provided.  I have yet to see one where this information is not printed on a label on the bottom of the hob, so you don't even need the manual.

Hi am I right with this the induction hob as l1 l2 n1 n2 plus earth I'm connecting to single phase so I assume I can use 6mm twin  and earth so do I connect live to l2and neautral  to n2 and then the earth
