Input power of panel heater

evening all.

daft question, but been asked to fit some covector heaters probably gonna go for 2kw. my questions is, is the input power needed going to be 2kW or the output 2kW or both?

Electric heating is virtually 100% efficient.. I.e. nearly all the electricity used is turned into heat.

so a 2kw heater would draw 2kwv of electricity?

If an electric heater is rated at 2kW then that would be it's power consumption @ 240v (usually).. nearly all of this is turned into heat!
