IP rated CCU for outside??

I need to price up a shed supply, however the stumbling block is that the existing fuseboard has no spare ways and is built into a kitchen cupboard with no easy access to install a 2nd board, So I was wandering if it would be possible (is there a suitable product) to install a waterproof CCU on an outside wall??

its possible, but i wouldnt recommend it. unless you also put it into some kind of enclosure for extra protection

I've never come across an IP55/65 CCU, can you get them then??

Previously I've installed a fused Isolator for a submain from a meter style enclosure on an outside wall but there isn't really the space here.

you can get IP rated enclosures.

Word of warning rcbo's do not fit in the enclosure.
