Following my oops with my Fluke, I posted a comment on here, which was picked up by "megger mark", our sponsor from ISSWWW.
What a pleasant man to deal with. The Fluke was collected promptly, I had good communication & estimation of costs.
The Fluke has been returned in excellent condition. (I had removed the battery pack to keep the weight down - it was returned with a battery pack & fresh batteries).
Excellent service, from the people who originally supplied me with the meter (though I didn`t know `em then)
