Lets see ...4 farthings in an old penny and a bun costs  2 3/4d  ( Tuppence- three farthings )  so £1  was 20 shillings or 240 pence and there were 4 farthings in a penny  so a bun cost 11 farthings and if there were  960 farthings in £1  so £1 - 17s -41/2  divided by amps X resistance  making each bun  0.5KW  @ the then voltage of 250V  gives us  ...erm ... :C
