Just finished C&G2391 @ PTT in Tring

Just had a pretty head frying day, I started my 2391 practical exam at 8am this morning, which I passed YAY!!! then studied all day for the written exam which I finished at 8:20 this evening :| feeling pretty drained now and have to wait weeks for the results

Was anyone else from the forum on this course?? PTT in Tring Herts 19/10/2009

We have used PTT for some training and were very happy with the lecturers, Robert is a legend !

how did you find the theory exam lillpete? what was your scenario question on?

got mine in november

It wasn't like the test papers TBH, the scenario was very weak, and the questions where really just questions they didn't link back to the scenario hardly at all??

I think it went ok but won't know for sure for a few weeks yet

I sat the same paper at Rotherham the same day! I too finished at approx 8.20 and as I was staying over I went to watch District 9 to unwind and drove home the next day. I know what you mean about the questions not really linked to the scenario. Anyway I think I passed, I am molre worried about the practical which I'm taking on 12th Nov....

I found the Practical very straight forward, as long as you get the safe isolation right the rest of it you can just plod through at your own pace as there is more than enough time. Just keep relaxed and think it through before you move from each set of to the next

Thanks Pete, I am anxious about getting it right and not having to do a re sit. As you say safe isolation procedures (2nd nature to me anyway) and taking time to think things through.

Hi everyone!

just started on this forum, so all this new to me!

just sat 2391 on 22nd oct and could not believe how different it was from previous exams! either that or i missread all the questions. I was surprised it asked for a description of a continutity test on radial sockets and insullation test on a 3 phase motor!!!!! 25 marks i believe!!! Hope you,ve all done well!!

Practical a doddle!!!! just keep your cool!!
