i dont think we have anyone on here who works on the voltage/power his shed needs!

As apprentices we spent some time with the jointer ( firm had two) sweating lugs on and wiping joints with hot metal on paper/lead SWA . A lot of tea brewing on the roarer . Since then its been resin joints TBH . So no, I wouldn't call myself a jointer .

Ahhh those were the day's I remember them well sat under a jointers tarp in a wet muddy hole with a burner a pot of molten lead, lead sticks and a cloth pad soaked in the finest grade of animal fat sweating up SWA lead plumbs onto switchgear.
